  • Quick Start : If you have a login name and password for a course on a Moodle server, then you need only watch videos 2, 3, 4 and 5 to learn enough to create your own course.

Download and Install your own personal Moodle server
(a) How to
download and install Moodle for your computer (desktop or laptop) running the windows XP operating system from the web-site www.moodle.org. You will then be the administrator on your own personal moodle server running on your computer i.e. you can create new courses, new users, etc. A chance to have lots of fun moodling!
(b) How to create a new course.
(c) How to create a new user and assign this user to a given course.
(d) Tour of the new course home page and available administrative features that will be covered in later videos.
(e) Download and install a new Moodle theme (i.e. change look and feel)

If you do not wish to install a moodle server on your computer, then skip to the next video (#2), which assumes you have a username and login password for an existing moodle course.
